Button-fix Type 3 Panel Fixings
A clean, hidden way to hang your felt wall panels. Button-fix Type 3 holds the panel flat to the wall with no visible screws and no trim. You press the panel on to mount it, and pull it off whenever you need to get behind it.
Each fixing is a two-part clip. One half fixes to the wall, the other to the back of the panel. Bring the two together and they push on with a firm click.
One set is one fix plus one button, giving one connection point. A typical panel uses four fixings, larger panels up to six. Four fixings support a vertical panel up to around 60 kg, independently strength-tested.
How do you hang felt acoustic wall panels without screws showing?
Button-fix Type 3 is a two-part push-fit clip. One half fixes to the wall and the other to the back of the panel. The panel pushes straight on and holds firm, with no fixings visible on the face.
What fixings do you need for PET felt wall panels?
For lightweight felt wall panels and tiles, Button-fix Type 3 is the clean choice. A typical panel uses four fixings, larger panels up to six. Count your panels and multiply by four to work out how many sets you need.
Can you remove felt wall panels after fitting?
Yes. Type 3 uses a straight push on, pull off action, so panels lift away for cleaning, access or reconfiguring, then push back on.
How do you line up the two halves?
Two ways. Measure the wall and the panel and mark the matching positions by hand. Or use the Button-fix marker tool, which slots into the wall fix and presses a guide point straight onto the panel back so everything lines up first time. The marker tool is sold separately and is reusable across every panel on the job.
How to fit
- Mark the fixing positions on the wall and fix the wall halves in place with your own screws.
- Transfer the positions to the panel back, by measuring or with the marker tool.
- Fix the buttons to the panel at those points.
- Push the panel onto the wall fixings. To remove, pull it straight off.
