Common questions.

What is PET felt?

Pressed polyester felt made from 75% post-consumer recycled PET, the plastic used in drinks bottles. It is light, warm to the touch, comes in up to 48 colours and is fire rated Class B-s1,d0 to BS EN 13501-1:2018 in both 12mm and 24mm.

Which product do I need?

For a wall finish, choose wall panels or wall tiles. For a ceiling feature, choose rafts, baffles or grid kits. To zone a room, choose room dividers. To give a desk its own edge, choose desk screens.

Does felt soundproof a room?

No. Felt softens the sound that reflects around a room, which reduces echo, but it doesn't stop sound passing through walls, floors or ceilings. Each product page gives the tested result for its board, with the mounting stated.

Where do your figures come from?

From independent laboratory tests to the standards we name: BS EN 13501-1 for fire, and EN ISO 354, ISO 354 and ASTM C423 for sound absorption. Every figure on our product pages and data sheets comes from those results, with the mounting stated.

How long does delivery take?

Felt products are made to order and dispatched in approx. 10 working days. Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £50. The felt carries a 10-year guarantee and accessories 2 years.

Can I see the colours first?

Yes. A sample pack of A5 sheets shows the felt in your own light, so you can judge colour and texture before you order.
