Folding Room Divider – 3 Panel PET Felt
A folding room divider that opens and stands wherever you need it, with no fixing and no building work. The three panel screen is the most versatile in the range, 1800mm wide across its three 600mm panels. Open it straight to divide a room, or wrap it into an L or a gentle curve to screen a bed, a home working corner, or a zone in an open-plan office. It folds flat to store behind a sofa or a door when the room goes back to open.
Each panel is cut from a single sheet of 24mm PET felt, so it is one solid board with the same warm finish on both faces and no bonded seam to delaminate. It is made to the standard designers and architects specify for commercial interiors. A workspace gets a screen built for daily professional use, and a home gets the same commercial grade felt the professionals use, not a domestic compromise. Choose from twenty colours and three heights of 1200mm, 1500mm and 1900mm. For a narrower screen the two panel folds to 1200mm wide, and for a wider span the four panel opens to 2400mm. Single freestanding panels are available across the room divider range.
Made or cut from solid 24mm PET felt board. The 24mm board is rated NRC 0.65, measured to EN ISO 354 with the board suspended as a baffle with both faces exposed.

Every Felted product is made to order in your chosen colour and size. Want to change colour or size after ordering? Tell us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate before production begins. Once made, items can't be returned unless faulty. If anything arrives damaged, email hello@felted.uk within 48 hours with photos and we'll put it right.

How wide is the three panel divider?
It has three 600mm panels, so it opens to 1800mm wide, in heights of 1200mm, 1500mm or 1900mm. The 1900mm height stands tall enough to block the view for someone standing. It folds flat for storage.
Why is the three panel the most popular?
It is the most versatile width. Straight it divides a room, curved it wraps a bed or a desk, and three panels give a stable self-bracing stand. It suits most bedrooms, studios and living rooms.
Can I use it as a background for video calls?
Yes. Opened behind you it gives a clean, warm, non-distracting backdrop, and the felt takes pins.
Are the room dividers fire rated?
Yes. The felt is classified Class B to BS EN 13501-1, the European reaction to fire standard, so the divider meets the fire classification commonly specified for commercial and public interiors as well as for the home.
Do felt room dividers block sound?
No. It softens some of the sound that reflects around a room, but it does not block sound between spaces or soundproof a room.
