Crease Acoustic Ceiling Baffle Kit
Crease is a set of eight PET felt baffles, each cut with a single crisp angle along the lower edge, like a fold in fabric. The fold sits at a different point on alternate blades, so the ceiling reads as a set of offset angles. It works as a decorative ceiling feature first, and the felt also helps soften sound in rooms with hard surfaces and high ceilings.
Choose 12mm or 24mm PET felt, both with 75% post-consumer recycled content. 12mm comes in 48 colours and 24mm in 20 colours. Each kit is made to order in your chosen colour, approx. 10 working days. Backed by a 10-year guarantee on the felt and 2 years on the rails and wires.
What's in the kit
- 8 PET felt blades, 12mm or 24mm, 2400mm long
- 8 aluminium top rails, 2400mm: silver anodised for 12mm blades, black for 24mm blades
- 16 grippers
- 16 polished steel suspension wires
- 16 ceiling anchors
Size
One kit covers a 2400 x 2120mm footprint in 12mm, or 2400 x 2125mm in 24mm, with eight blades hung at 300mm centres. Blade depth runs from 240 to 360mm either side of the fold. Each blade hangs on two wires, one at each end of its rail.

Class D, αw 0.30
Tested to ISO 354 with the board fixed flat on a rigid backing, rated to ISO 11654. NRC 0.40 is our calculation from the lab's results.
Tested performance
| Mounting | Like | αw | Class | NRC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flat on a rigid backing (ISO 354) | A panel fixed to a wall | 0.30 (MH) | D | 0.40 |
12mm board, 2.4kg/m², tested to ISO 354 and rated to ISO 11654; NRC 0.40 calculated by us from the lab's results. Figures are per square metre of board, so they work for any size; for a panel hung or standing free they are a conservative guide, because its back face and edges absorb sound too. See how to read acoustic panel ratings.
Acoustic performance in your space varies with how the product is mounted, the room, and how much material is used. For the full breakdown see the science page, or contact us.
Class A, αw 0.90
NRC 0.90, tested to ASTM C423-23 with a 200mm or 400mm air gap. Class A is our calculation from the lab's results using the ISO 11654 method. Flat with no air gap: NRC 0.65, and αw 0.50 (MH), Class D, calculated from the EN ISO 354 results.
Tested performance
| Mounting | Like | NRC | SAA |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat, no air gap (Type A) | A panel fixed to a wall | 0.65 | 0.64 |
| 200mm air gap (E200) | Panels on battens, a suspended tile | 0.90 | 0.87 |
| 400mm air gap (E400) | A raft hung below a ceiling | 0.90 | 0.87 |
24mm board, 4.87kg/m², tested to ASTM C423-23; the flat result also to EN ISO 354. Figures are per square metre of board, so they work for any size; for a panel hung or standing free they are a conservative guide, because its back face and edges absorb sound too.
