Oval Acoustic Ceiling Raft
Description
Bring colour and shape to your ceiling with one large felt raft. At 2400 x 1200mm, the Oval's soft, rounded outline hangs level below the ceiling as a single statement piece. The felt also softens sound in the room, taking the edge off echo. Its rounded outline is the classic acoustic cloud shape, floating below the ceiling with open space all round.
Fire rated Class B-s1,d0 to BS EN 13501-1:2018.
2400 x 1200 x 24mm, about 11.0kg, in 20 colours.
Supplied with 3 pairs of 1m ceiling wires (6 wires) to hang it level. Each wire fixes to a flat plate screwed into the top face of the raft, so nothing shows from the floor. Extra pairs are available separately.

Class A, αw 0.90
NRC 0.90, tested to ASTM C423-23 with a 200mm or 400mm air gap. Class A is our calculation from the lab's results using the ISO 11654 method. Flat with no air gap: NRC 0.65, and αw 0.50 (MH), Class D, calculated from the EN ISO 354 results.

24mm board, 4.87kg/m², tested to ASTM C423-23; the flat result also to EN ISO 354. Figures are per square metre of board, so they work for any size; for a panel hung or standing free they are a conservative guide, because its back face and edges absorb sound too. For a raft hung below a ceiling, the 400mm result is the closest lab mounting.

Returns & made to order
Every Felted product is made to order in your chosen colour and size. Want to change colour or size after ordering? Tell us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate before production begins. Once made, items can't be returned unless faulty. If anything arrives damaged, email hello@felted.uk within 48 hours with photos and we'll put it right.
