Acoustic Wall Tiles – Einstein Hat – PET Felt
The Einstein hat is a single 13-sided tile that covers a wall with no gaps and never repeats. It was the first shape ever found that tiles on its own without the pattern repeating, discovered in 2022. Every tile is the same shape at one size, cut from 12mm PET felt for a soft textured finish. About one in seven tiles sits reversed, a mirror of the rest, and because the felt reads the same on both faces a reversed tile is simply the same tile turned over. Each tile is precision cut and trimmed to fit at the wall edges on site.
It is one of very few ways to bring the shape off the page and onto a wall as a fitted surface.
Available in 48 colours and three sizes, all 12mm deep. Each pack covers about 1.11m² whatever the size:
300 (300 x 217mm) - 32 tiles per pack
400 (400 x 289mm) - 18 tiles per pack
600 (600 x 433mm) - 8 tiles per pack
Each pack contains one colour. Backed by a 10-year guarantee.
Really easy to install yourself. The tiles are lightweight so all you need is a grab adhesive or some pin head nails. Just mark out your layout on the wall, stick or pin them up and you're done. No special tools or skills needed. Most people have a full wall finished in an afternoon.

Every Felted product is made to order in your chosen colour and size. Want to change colour or size after ordering? Tell us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate before production begins. Once made, items can't be returned unless faulty. If anything arrives damaged, email hello@felted.uk within 48 hours with photos and we'll put it right.
